Industrial Floor Scrubbers  Industrial Floor Sweepers  Industrial Sweeper Scrubbers

Tom Creecy  -  Chairman

Tom has over 25 years of experience with Industrial Cleaning Equipment, from the largest street sweepers to the smallest battery scrubber. Having spent many years living overseas, Tom is fluent in many languages and personally oversees our international development.

William and Irene Mopps Sr.  -  Innovative Founders

After completing a successful engineering career including work for NASA, William Mopps designs the Model 34. A machine we still make today and with almost 20,000 units in the field, no other machine has quite the passionate following. While we have lost both of Irene Mopps’ parents, their impact is still felt to this day.

Sean Goff  -  President

The person many of our historic distributors remember for traveling the country in a van, with road racing motorcycles in tow. Father of four, and pictured with son Cade, Sean now spends most days at the factory in Racine, WI working on new industrial sweeper and scrubber designs. Having moved direction from college graduation in 1993 to Factory Cat, cleaning equipment has been his sole focus professionally. It was Sean’s Grandfather Bill Mopps (designer of the original Model 34), who convinced Sean to leave sunny Florida for the opportunity to become employee #3.

Irene Mopps  -  VP Admin

Originally responsible for every detail, including the final crating of equipment, Irene has 20 years of experience with Floor Cleaning Machines. She oversees our administrative departments and her keen eye for cash flow assures that we have the resources necessary for product development.

Kevin Beehler  -  Regional Manager

Kevin has quite literally done it all in the cleaning equipment industry. He spent a number of years selling equipment for a distributor, and then later started and built his own company for industrial cleaning equipment. After a number of years, we recruited him to join our team and his territory is regularly the Top Performing in the country.

Darin Park  -  Regional Manager

Having spent nearly 15 years in the cleaning equipment industry, Darin has developed large sweeper sales (street sweepers), and in states from Arizona to Idaho and now the Southeast of the country. Darin is a father of five, and understandably has every motivation to succeed. Darin was the first Regional Representative we hired (in 1998) to live remotely and develop a focused territory for sweeper and scrubber distributors.

John McLaughlin  -  Regional Manager

Although John has a college degree, he still spent over a year working on our assembly line. Like most of our reps, this built his confidence and product knowledge to a level surpassing our competitors. John works in the states surrounding Ohio, and has consistently grown the territory, while spear heading our efforts with many new large accounts.

Rick Haertel  -  Regional Manager

The first person hired (1995) to assist with cleaning equipment sales and distribution support, Rick is a proud parent of one (Seth). After originally sharing the entire US with Sean Goff, Rick now focuses on his Mid-West territory. He develops scrubber and sweeper business from Chicago to Kansas City to Fargo.

Ken Wenning  -  Government Specialist

Ken has spent his career in sales and marketing positions in different industries. Ken started in the food business and for the past 15 plus years has worked in the commercial and industrial cleaning equipment industry for manufacturers working with Government and National accounts.

Pete Jedlicka  -  Production Manager

Pete was hired at Factory Cat in 1996 and is responsible for production scheduling, staffing, equipment, quality control, and the coordination of production activities. Pete is the proud parent of 2, and a dedicated triathlete.

Phil Rigby  -  Parts Manager

Working at Factory Cat for 14 years now, Phil has settled into the perfect position for him with meticulous detail and the ability to remember almost every part number we have! Parent of one daughter and he proudly bleeds viking purple even though he lives in Wisconsin.

Marc McDuffie  -  Director of Service & Technology

Working at the distributor level of the sweeper and scrubber industry for over 15 years. Marc provides excellent help for all the field technicians and also has a key role around the office with many other responsibilities.

Chris Hults  -  Warranty Manager

Being in the scrubber industry at the distributor level for 15 plus years Chris knows how everything works. Having spent time as a "Field Technician" and then "Service Manager" for an equipment distributor, he has an understanding for the challenges faced by the people on the front lines. In charge of dishing out the refunds if necessary and saying no if there not is no problem for this father of 3.

Jon Haertel  -  IT Specialist

Starting off in the production department Jon attended school and still worked a 40 hour work week here. Factory Cat knowing that they had a dedicated employee kept Jon around to work on their computers.

Chris Sturm  -  Quality Control

The first employee hired (1992), knowing the in's and out's of all machines of course he's going to be the head of quality control. Our quality control staff operates a machine for a minimum of 15 minutes before approving it to be shipped out. Being a true outdoors man Chris hunts and fishes almost religiously.

Tammy Davidovic  -  Domestic Equipment Order Specialist

Tammy began her career with our company as the receptionist, and was remembered best for her friendly demeanor and helpful spirit. She now handles all of our "domestic" equipment order entry, and works hand in hand with distributors to make sure their order is handled properly.

Rosemary Hendrickson  -  International Equipment Order Specialist

With an unmatched attention for details, Rosemary is responsible for our "international" equipment orders. Each country has unique requirements, and correcting errors in shipment comes at a great cost to the company. As our international business has grown recently, so has the importance of this position.

Chad Vukobrat  -  Product Specialist

Attending Madison Area Technical College for CAD design, Chad came to work for Factory Cat shortly after college. Designing new machines and fabrication drawings is what Chad does best, but out side of work he hunts, and plays softball in the upper tier tournaments.

Del Todd  -  Technical Support

Working at Factory Cat and going to school was Del's routine for many years but after graduating college he found a permanent position helping people fix their problems. When Del's not taking some calls he's out catching a lunker (big fish), or ripping up the trails on his enduro bike.

Jai Cairo  -  R&D Specialist

In charge of getting all those new products to work right. Jai has been with Factory Cat since 2002, and he is always busy with all the new ideas floating around here. When not working Jai is a loyal fan of the Packers and enjoys watching the games with his daughter.

James Morgan  -  Assembly Supervisor

James started off working in final machine assembly, eight years later he now leads our various assembly teams. Working harder now more then ever to support his newborn son James jr.

Lupe Ramirez  -  Shipping Manager

Working at Factory Cat for more then 10 years Lupe oversees the shipping department. Lupe's hard work and long days keep the finished machines rolling out the door and waiting for more.

Industrial Scrubber, and Sweeper Machine Choices

Industrial Battery Floor Sweeper

Factory Cat 34 industrial walk behind floor sweeperThis walk behind, battery sweeper has been an industry leader for more than a decade. Its sweeping prowess and durability has been proven in many of the worlds’ most challenging floor sweeping environments. You’ll find these sweepers cleaning in mines, metal fabrication facilities, bulk powder packaging, wood mills, and more. The Model 34 sweepers' all steel construction, direct throw sweeping and "baghouse" filter differentiate it from all the plastic (commercial) sweepers on the market.

Factory Cat TR industrial rider industrial floor sweeperA compact rider sweeper, but with the performance of sweepers twice its size. The TR is a maneuverable sweeper, with good visibility and priced below other sweepers in the category. Similar to our Model 34 sweeper, this battery sweeper is all steel construction and built to perform in dusty applications. The TR rider sweeper can clean 60,000 square feet / hour, and for over 7 hours on a single charge. The onboard charger is fully automatic and allows customers to recharge the sweeper at any outlet. The TR sweeper is able to sweep up sand, fine powders, leaves, rocks, nails and all into a simple to empty hopper. Both the Model 34 sweeper and this TR rider sweeper are built with a filter that typically lasts the life of the machine, saving customers potentially thousands of parts $$ in the future.

Walk Behind Battery Industrial Auto Scrubber

Factory Cat MiniMag industrial walk behind floor auto scrubberThe Factory Cat MiniMag industrial scrubber blends a compact floor scrubber with the toughness that is not found on other brands of battery scrubbers. With 17 gallon tanks and scrub paths from 17" up to 26", the MiniMag can be configured to meet your scrubbing needs. Both disk and cylindrical scrubbing heads are available on the MiniMag Scrubbers, allowing customers to sweep and scrub in a single pass. Factory Cat uses the same HD scrub motors from the larger Magnum scrubber, on this smaller MiniMag auto scrubber. The Factory Cat walk behind scrubber is able to scrub into congested areas and is ideal for Car Dealerships, congested machine shops, food preparation areas and anyone looking for high performance scrubbing in a compact and affordable package.

Factory Cat Magnum industrial walk behind floor auto scrubberFactory Cat’s larger Magnum scrubber combines 30 gallon tanks and seven different scrub decks. Available with 24" on the small end up to 34" on the large end, they can be equipped with the popular sweeper/scrubber combination, also known as a scrubber/sweeper. This cylindrical head can conveniently sweep and scrub in a single pass, saving customers the grief of clogged squeegee hoses and reducing the need to pre-sweep. The Magnum scrubber, and all Factory Cat scrubbers, have tanks that tip back for easy access to all service items. Accommodating the natural scheduled maintenance on the scrubbers and sweeper/scrubber combos, encourages long life and customer satisfaction.

Rider Battery Industrial Auto Scrubber

Factory Cat GTX industrial rider floor auto scrubber/sweeperFor customers who are not willing to accept any compromises with their scrubbers or sweeper/scrubbers. The GTX rider scrubber is effectively smaller than most walk behind scrubbers. While smaller in footprint, the GTX battery scrubber packs in 35 gallon tanks, 6+ hours of run time and scrub paths from 24" to 34". Like all Factory Cat scrubbers, the GTX can be built with the labor saving cylindrical head, for sweeping and scrubbing in a single path. The optional side brooms permit sweeping under racking, along the wall.

Factory Cat XR industrial rider floor auto scrubber/sweeperOur largest rider scrubber, the XR battery scrubber is designed with 68 gallon tanks, and scrub paths from 34" up to a massive 46". The efficient design allows our scrubber to U-turn in 7’ aisles and be optioned up with 85 gallon stainless tanks and dual side brooms for sweeping up to the edge. The XR rider scrubber, like the smaller GTX scrubber, is built with operator comfort in mind. It offers superior scrubbing performance and like all Factory Cat scrubbers, is built with stainless fasteners, powder coated steel, and all maintenance components are placed for easy access. XR scrubbers are popular with food distribution facilities, companies in the Tech sector, and any industrial or fabrication plants. The scrubber’s large tanks and battery set allow customers to scrub up to 250,000 sq. ft on a single charge. Onboard soap, overhead guards, non-marking tires and remote floor cleaning tools are just a few of the options available.
